Information for people unable leave Canada due to the volcano erupting in Iceland

On April 14, 2010, a volcanic eruption in Iceland resulted in numerous air travel disruptions. Some flights have been grounded, and many people may find themselves in situations where their visa to remain in Canada has expired.

More information is available on the CIC website if you wish to extend your visitor, student or worker visa.
